Story:

Nelly Lenz did manage to survive the concentration camp. She is severely wounded and has a mutilated face. Lene Winter, attorney and Jewish Agency cooperator, takes her to Berlin. After medical operation with new face Nelly starts looking for her husband, Johannes. Finally she manage to find him but he does not recognize her. Nevertheless they manage to get closer. He finds in her a lot of things in common with his ‘dead’ wife. He submits a proposal to her. Nelly’s challenge will be to pretend his ‘dead’ wife to obtain fortune she inherited from her family. Nelly agrees and becomes her own double.
